✿ a very snowy christmas alternate ending/version ✿

his smile grew wider as he walk closer to me.
we stared to each other's eyes for a while. "how have you been?" he asked me, and stroked my head softly.
he smiled lovingly. i, there, cannot describe my happiness
that time either.
"i'm fine. what are you doing here and how... how..."
"how what?" he continued.
"how can i have this weird but warm feeling whenever i'm with you?"

there.
THERE.
i said it.

he walked away to get some snow while he said
"ahh. i get it!"
he said while grinning playfully.
"y-you get what?" i asked. he kept smiling, showing his lovely eyesmile.
he turned his back and he said...

"you love me, right?"

i can feel my cheeks reddening.
then there's a moment of silence and
i decided to throw some leftover snow on my hand to him to break the
awkwardness...
he laughed when my snowball hit his head.

"ha, don't be silly. why would i--"
he threw a snowball at me, making me laugh hard.
"so you want to have a snowball fight huh?" i said while bowing
down to take some snow and made it into a snowball.
"but you didn't answer my question."
he said that made me blush once more.
i stood up, looked at my snowball, and looked at him.
he's still looking at me.
and then he continued "because if that's right..."

"...i love you too."

he threw a snowball at me and laughed.
i think it's the time to say the truth.
"i..." i said.
"you what?" he continued, waiting for my answer.
"i love you."

i immediately threw a snowball at him and laughed.
i ran and he chased me while giggling a lot.
he managed to chase me (because it was hard to run in the snow!!!)
and he said while hugging me from the back,
"this is the best christmas for us, am i right?"
"yes, yes it is."
